Albert Porta

My name is Albert Porter I live in
Downingtown. Right about October and I felt a pain in my chest if I went up
flight of stairs and then did something boy I was out of breath.
Dr. Jan I think I was with him since 1991 he suggested a long time he
wanted to do something I didn’t want to settle for the being cut open again and
he start telling me about a new procedure he told me he says you know this is a
very good operation he says and it’s very it’s not risky that they go through
the groin and up to the heart and I said well oh my god yeah I’ll take that. Oh, the
TAVR was very easy to recover from because I was able to do things they
wasn’t able to do before now I mean just outside of two months I was with my
daughter just recuperating but after that I was able to do more
normal things. I’d go to bed I use the stairs that use the stairs again to the seller
to wash clothes and everything else so I feel that I got another chance on life
the care I got I mean here at Chester County and there at University of
Penn I can’t complain I figure I’ve got first class care and great people to be
able to take care of ya and that’s all you can ask for. I’m able to see my three
grandkids live a nice life and my granddaughter of sophomore at San Joe’s
University and I’m happy and I’m grateful – I really am. \My life is worth Penn Medicine, without a doubt.
