Cabinet Lift Door Tension and Hinge Adjustment Guide by Dura Supreme

The left door mechanism allows for a 3-way adjustment of the door as well as the lift tension. When making any adjustments use a number 2 Pozi driver bit. To determine if the lift or tension is set correctly Open and close the door. The door should open and close smoothly. For example if the door pops up or doesn’t close, the tension is set to high. To adjust the tension, first remove the cover plates from each lift mechanism. Adjust the lift tension by turning the adjustment screw counterclockwise to decrease the tension Turn the adjustment screw clockwise to increase the tension. When making the adjustment ensure that both mechanisms are adjusted to the same setting When the lift mechanism is adjusted correctly the door should open and close smoothly To make any vertical horizontal or depth adjustment remove the hinge cap from each hinge Under the cap you will find 3 adjustment screws. The 1st screw is to adjust the door vertically. The 2nd is used to adjust the door horizontally, and the 3rd is to adjust the depth or the gap between the door and the cabinet To adjust the door vertically turn the vertical adjustment screw clockwise to raise the door up. Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise to lower the door. For horizontal adjustment both hinges will need to be adjusted. Turn the horizontal adjustment screw clockwise to shift the door to the right. Turn the screw counterclockwise to shift the door to the left Lastly, to adjust the depth or size of the gap between the door in the cabinet turn the depth adjustment screw clockwise to tilt the top of the door towards the cabinet. Turn the screw counterclockwise to tilt the top of the door away from the cabinet. Once all the adjustments have been made snap each cover plate and hinge cap back into place
