Fentanyl presence growing as opioid deaths decline slightly

ACCORDING TO DATA RELEASED TO BY THE STATE’S DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH, OPIOID RELATED DEATHS HAVE FALLEN NEARLY 11 PERCENT IN THE FIRST SIX MONTHS OF 2019… COMPARED TO THE FIRST SIX MONTHS OF 2018. SO FAR IN 2019, THERE HAS BEEN 938 OVERDOSE DEATHS… 112 FEWER THAN THIS TIME LAST YEAR.
