Heartsaver First Aid Online Part 1 Demo

Heart Association’s Heartsaver First Aid Online course teaches basic first aid skills, that may help your employees save a life or prevent further injury. This course is also updated
with the 2010 AHA guidelines for CPR and emergency cardiovascular care. The value of this course is
reflected in the fact that OSHA reported 3.3 million cases of non-fatal workplace
injuries and illnesses and quick, effective
responses to these injuries and illnesses could help save a life or prevent further injury. This convenient and
self-paced course provides an alternative to classroom
based training for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course
completion card to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. The online portion of this
course is accessible anytime and is one of three parts. Through high quality interactive exercises and video segments, part one teaches students first aid basics and how to provide first
aid for medical, injury, and environmental emergencies. The course’s functional
features make learning easy. There are screen, text
size, and audio options. An accordion style
navigation to enable students to move through the
course material quickly and efficiently at each
student’s individual pace. The active progress bar
and check mark icons show exactly where the
student is within the course. The notes tool allows
students to type and reference notes at their convenience. Drag and drop functionality in many of the interactive exercises reinforces learning of
individual steps and sequences. Students receive access to the entire Heartsaver First Aid Student Workbook. In addition, all the information
in videos in the online course remains available to
the student for 24 months. Upon successful completion
of Heartsaver First Aid Online Part One, students
receive a printable certificate of completion
which must be presented to begin parts two and three. Parts two and three are
hands on skills practice and testing sessions conducted in person with an authorized AHA instructor or Heartsaver skills evaluator. Upon successful completion
of all three parts, students receive an AHA Heartsaver First Aid
course completion card, which is valid for two years. This course is for initial
