Lanosterol Eye Drops can cure Cataract without Surgery

Researchers in the US have developed a new
drug that can be delivered directly into the eye via an eye dropper to shrink down and
dissolve cataracts. Cataracts is the most common cause of blindness
in humans. Affecting tens of millions of people worldwide,
cataracts cause the lens of the eye to become progressively cloudy, and when left untreated,
can lead to total blindness. Scientists aren’t entirely sure what causes
cataracts, but most cases are related to age, with the US National Eye Institute reporting
that by the age of 80, more than half of all Americans either have a cataract, or have
had cataract surgery. Today around 32.4 million people around the
world are blind, and 90 percent of them live in developing countries. More than half of
these cases were caused by cataracts. Currently the only treatment for cataract
eyes is the surgical removal of cataractous lenses. The surgical procedure to remove a
cataract is very simple and safe, but many communities in developing countries do not
have access to the money or facilities to perform it, which means blindness is inevitable
for the vast majority of patients So, having an eye drop as an alternative to
surgery would make an incredible difference. The new drug is based on a naturally-occurring
steroid called lanosterol. The researchers tested their lanosterol-based
eye drops with rabbits and dogs, with positive results. The next step for them is, to find
about how Lanosterol is curing the Cataract, and then start using them in humans. The researchers
believe that it can happen within next year itself, because they are not expecting any
issue as lanosterol is produced by our body itself.

  1. I am an optometrist in South Africa and would like to get involved in this study or receive more information.  I also have a young dog with bilateral cataracts due to a vet giving too high dose cortisone, the cost of dog cataract surgery is extremely expensive here.

  2. my 2 year old toy poodle has a cataract. they want $3000 for surgery. cannot afford this. where can I get the laosterol drops?

  3. Why would anyone put an ad on U-TOOB for a product that isn't available?  Did I miss something here? Is this some kind of new INDIAN MARKETING experiment? WOW!

  4. don't bother waiting for the shite fda – buy the lanosterol drops for dogs here & use them for yourself – mammals are mammals – it is not like the expletive fda is really out for your best interest anyhow & the "approved" treatment of putting a plastic lens in your eye can leech petrochemicals into your body down the line

  5. I have spoken with Dr Zhang's assistant in California who said they do not have any plans for a trial human study because the FDA has such strict rules. It was explained to me from the people at that lanosterol is made from natural sheeps wool instead of chemically based steroids which have been traditionally used as eye drops in eye patients who have cataracts.

  7. Lanosterol Eye Drops is only safe for dogs, not safe for human yet. Don't risk your own eyes for some Indian fake news.

  8. The problem with these promising cures is that it bring about a host of scammers and bullshitters making claims and urging you to buy their worthless crap. I am not saying that there is absolutely no one out there who has a cure, I am simply saying that you need to demand viable proof.

  9. This is fake news. Why? Prof. Kang Zhang of UCSD seems to give up lanosterol eyedrops project.
It's big joke that lanosterol eyedrops can cure cataracts. Wastes on surface of lens are mostly
glycoproteins. Lanosterol can't adsorb glycoproteins and remove it from surface of lens.
Spikes of HIV, SARS, and flu virus can't be adsorbed by any western drug (organic chemicals).

Please don't spread this fake news. Those research paper published in Nature magazine
    doesn't mean always accurate.

  10. Tried it. Eyes crusted over from the drops and it did nothing to alleviate my cataracts. I'm trying every natural remedy possible, but Lanosteral DID NOT work.
