Physical Therapy Exercises for the Knees : Range of Motion Physical Therapy Exercises for Knees

Hi! My name is Monica and I’m going to start
off by taking you through some knee range of motion exercises. Range of motion is just
simply bending and straighten the joints as much as you possibly can without any pain.
I do want to let you know to that if your knee is popping or cracking or clicking at
all during this or any of the other exercises, that is usually fine. Most knees do pop and
crack but if you are experiencing any pain while doing this, that is a problem. So what
I want you to do is get comfortable. Knees need to be bent. You are going to work on
right leg first which you are going to start off with the knee straight on the floor and
then I want you to slide a little all the way back as far as you can and then right
back out again. You could see that I took my shoe off, it is a little bit easier if
you have either just your socks or barefoot so that way your shoes are not trying to drag
across the ground. It is just simply bending the knee up, straightening it, bending, straightening.

  2. You have to have a clean carpet for this one. 🙂 I'll do this barefoot on my yoga mat. I hope that works all the same.

  5. Wow, I think my knee pains are cured now after watching this. I'd love to try another exercise with you. How about whilst you do your knee exercises lying on your back 1:20 , I lie on my front on top of you doing another aerobic exercise. I think it'll be very good for our hip muscles and we'd both feel a lot better afterwards. What's your no. so I can come to your place to show you :oD.

  6. @Tholganis u probaly have growing pains if u do u should just do the RICE therapy, put ice on ur knees 3 times a day and while ur doind that ur supposed 2 elevate them. and no sports 🙁
