  2. Orgasm Addict
    Buzzcocks

Well, you tried it just for once found it all right for kicks
But now you found out that it's a habit that sticks
And you're an orgasm addict, you're an orgasm addict

Sneaking in the back door with dirty magazines
Now your mother wants to know 'bout all those stains on your jeans
And you're an orgasm addict, you're an orgasm addict

    Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh
    Uh, uh, uh

You get in a heat, you get in a sulk
But you still keep a-beating your meat to pulp
And you're an orgasm addict, you're an orgasm addict

    You're a kid Casanova, you're no Joseph
It's a labor of love fucking yourself to death
Orgasm addict, you're an orgasm addict

    Uh huh, uh
Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh

You're makin' out with school kids
    Winos and heads of state
You even made it with the lady
Who puts the little plastic bobbins on the Christmas cakes

    Butchers' assistants and bellhops
You've had them all here and there
Children of God and their joy strings
International women with no body hair

Ooh, so whether you're asking in an alley and your voice ain't steady
Your sex mechanic's rough, you're more than ready
You're an orgasm addict, you're an orgasm addict

Johnny want fuckie always and all ways
He's got the energy, he will remain
He's an orgasm addict, he's an orgasm addict

    He's always at it
    He's always at it

    And he's an orgasm addict
    He's an orgasm addict

  3. First time I ever heard this song was on the radio in KFC at tea time on a Friday evening. Needless to say, a lot of eyebrows were raised

  4. "Heads of state"! There were 3 female heads of state in the world in 1977 – our own dear Queen; Margrethe II of Denmark; Juliana of the Netherlands.

Margrethe was young and pretty then, so fapping to her would have been fair enough. But it's 'heads' – plural – so at least 1 of the other 2 was included. Juliana was looking fairly old and weathered by 77, so he was more likely fapping to Liz!! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

  5. This is fantastic! If you love this then check out the earlier version with Howard Devoto singing! That one is amazing too! https://youtu.be/vXJSVYRMSFI

  6. RIP Mr Shelley, the most cultured of all the punks, and without whom would the Haรงienda have ever existed?

  7. Last night I lost a hero that over the past 15 plus years had become a friend. Pete, thanks for the music, the kindness, the laughter, and the great times. Glad I caught so much on camera Rest easy Peter x

  8. R.I.P. Pete Shelley. 26 years since i saw Buzzcocks. Time flies. Still dont know why there was a big wall dividing the audience in two halfs, what a strange place. Excellent show, anyway, a lot of amazing songs from their first years, and a couple from Trade Test Transmissions/Maxi Alive Tonight. Probably their best moment. None of that nineties punk bands (green day, rancid, devil dogs, new bomb turks, refused) were half as great as Buzzcocks. "Another music in a different kitchen" still kills the whole Green Day career.

  9. Somehow, when I have to pick a song that reminds me that the Buzzcocks were truly UNIQUE….I come up (ooops!) with this! Thanks Pete, you added thrills to my youth.

  10. RIP PETE SHELLY ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”

  12. I remember in mid 80s, one night after midnight, screaming this song with Gwen in the Federal dorms quad at Southampton college. Surprisingly, nobody told us to shut the f^ck up! So silly we were, but it was fun.

  13. Buzzcocks the best live act from the best city in the UK back in the day. Lucky enough to get to see them at the Mayflower club in the late 70s. I think the support band were the Slits? ?? good stuff from better days. cj .
